VDO Tools respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement that are reported to the designated agent identified below.
How VDO Tools Works
It's important to understand that VDO Tools provides browser-based conversion tools that process files directly in your browser. We do not:
- Store or host user files on our servers
- Have access to the content being converted
- Distribute or share user content
All processing happens locally on your device, and files are never uploaded to our servers.
DMCA Notification Requirements
If you believe that your copyrighted work has been used in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide our designated copyright agent with the following information in writing:

A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.

Counter-Notification Procedure
If you believe that your content was removed due to a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our designated agent containing the following:

Your physical or electronic signature.

Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled.

A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.

Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which the service provider may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notification or an agent of such person.
Repeat Infringers
VDO Tools reserves the right to terminate access to our services for users who repeatedly infringe copyrights.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this DMCA Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page.
